This examination assesses the eligibility of the Applicants for teaching in Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and High school classes within the state of Kerala. KTET is held once a year through the office of Commissioner of Government Examinations. KTET 2023 Application Form:

Applicants ought to submit his/her respective application to Pareeksha Bhavan through on-line mode solely. He/she oughtn’t to send the printout of the form, challan or required documents to the official authority by post or any further mode. However, He/she should take print of the filled form for reference purposes.

KTET 2023 Application Fee:

Applicants ought to pay the required payment with Rs.500/- as examination fee, whereas this amount is to be charged with Rs.250/- for ST/SC/Differently abled class Applicants.

KTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility for category 1st:
Applicants should have passed Senior Secondary Exams with 45% marks and hold a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC) or He/she should have passed the senior secondary examination with 50% marks and possess 2-year diploma in Education (SE)/4 year B.El.Ed.

Eligibility for Class 2nd:
Applicants should hold B.Sc / B.Com degree / BA and 2 years Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC)/Diploma in elementary education OR hold BA / B.Com / B.Sc with 45% marks by with one year B.Ed. OR have completed senior secondary examination with having 50% marks by with four years B.El.Ed/ BA / B.Ed. / B.Sc / BA.Ed. B.Sc.Ed.

Eligibility for Class 3rd:
Applicants should have B.Com/B.Sc/B.A with 45% marks and B.Ed in a connected subject or passed LTTC.
Eligibility for mathematics, Physics, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology: Applicants should hold M.Sc.Ed. In connected subject by with getting 50% marks and it should be acquired from one amongst Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT.
Eligibility for botany and Zoology: Applicants should have M.Sc.Ed degree in life science by having 50% marks.

Kerala TET 2023 Exam Pattern:

There will be a separate paper in every class.
All the queries are found as multiple alternative queries (in nature) and carrying one mark every.
Out of the four alternatives, only one answer is correct.
The total number of MCQ queries in type is 150.

KTET Result 2023:

KTET Selection Process 2023:

Applicants will be selected on the basis of the performance they did in the KTET 2023 exam.

  • Applicants who pass the KTET 2023 entrance exam will be entitled to apply for teaching jobs in both public and private schools.
  • Applicants must pass the entrance exam and then appear for a personal interview, which is the final step of the selection process, to be considered for a teaching position.
  • All of the selected applicants must give a demonstration class for teaching so that the educational authorities may make an decision about their recruitment.
