HPU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Application Form 2024 will be released soon. HPU is commonly known as Himachal Pradesh University. Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) conducts the admission process for eligible candidates with the aim of providing an opportunity for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing courses are available at various affiliated universities and colleges.

To enable the candidates to qualify for admission, the official authorities of Himachal Pradesh University conduct the entrance exam for the candidates, commonly known as the HPU Basic Bachelor of Nursing Admission Test in 2024.

• The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 2000/-.
• And for reserved category, candidates have to pay Rs 1000/- registration fee for the entrance exam.
• Candidates can pay the registration fee through Challan, Net Banking or any other payment gateway method (Debit Card, Credit Card).
• This means that official agencies will only accept online application fee payments.
• Candidates who pay the application fee per challan must submit the challan at the nearest SBI branch.

Qualifying marks:

• General category candidates must score at least 45% marks in the qualifying test i.e. HSC test.
• However, candidates in the reserve category must score a minimum of 40% in the admission exams.

Registration with the State Nursing Council:

• An applicant who wants to get admission to the university must be one of the registered Nurse or Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with H.P State Nurses Registration Council, Shimla.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have completed nursery and general midwifery courses from an institution or school recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council/Indian Nursing Council.

The results of all the candidates appearing for the entrance test have been declared and will be published on the University website www.hpuniv.ac.in. No partial score reports will be sent to candidates.

Through online means, only candidates can access the results. On visiting the official website of the university, the officials will declare the results.
