NTA JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020: JEE Main Eligibility 2020 has been published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This is the main authority responsible for the exam that organizes the joint entrance exam (JEE Main). This examination is a national level exam aimed at providing admissions to undergraduate engineering courses at IIT, NIT, and IIIT. It is done in 2modes that are on-line (computer-based mode) and offline (mode and pencil-based paper).

Passing Year Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed twelfth class or equivalent exam in 2018 or 2019 (not before 2019) are eligible to apply for this exam.
If candidates have appeared during a 12th or equivalent exam in 2018 but did not cleared in 2018, but passed in 2019 aren’t eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed twelfth exams in 2018 or before or appearing in 2020 or later exams aren’t eligible to apply for JEE Main 2020.
If candidates qualify 12th examination in 2019 for improvement in 2020 for one or few subjects, then top 20 percentile cut-off for 2019 are going to be considered.
However, if a candidate writes all the subjects in 2020, then the best of the two performances are going to be considered.
Candidates additionally note down that for the percentile system, total marks obtained in all the 5 subjects of mark sheet are required for JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
