UPRTOU is known as the Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad, was formed in 1999 under U.P University Act 1999 passed by U.P. Legislature and was named after Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purusottam Das Tandon Ji. It has been approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The university provides a huge number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The list of UG courses consist of BA, B.Sc., B.Ed., BCA, BBA, B.Com, and B.LIB. While in the list of PG courses consists of MA, M.Sc., MBA, MCA, MCA (Lateral), M.Com, and M.LIB.I.SC. Besides, the university is also offering certificate and diploma courses.

UPRTOU Admission is accomplished through a merit list while for quite some courses it accepts national level exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT. UPRTOU 2024 Application Form:

UPRTOU Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. First of all, candidates must provide the following details- Name, Father’s Name, Program Name, Address, and Category (General, SC/ ST/ OBC).

As soon as you provide these details, candidates need to get themselves registered together with paying the application fee charges by using your Bank Challan process. Printing the Challan, candidates will have to pay attention to the generated details such as the Unique Transaction id (with copies) and then wait 24 hours.

The next day, log on and fill these details into spaces. When payment is completed, candidates will have to complete the rest of the formalities such as the uploading colored digitized photograph and the signature, now send out the hard copy of the form through post-medium.

Messengers will not be accepted, candidates will be able to send it through speed-post or register post. Forms will be accepted only by the stipulated dates. The name and address to which the post shall be sent will be updated at an appropriate time of time.

UPRTOU 2024 Result:

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) results will be declared through online mode on the official website in July & February for a one-year & semester accordingly. UPRTOU also conducts separate entrance exams to give admission to MBA, MCA, B.Ed& Ph.D. programs.

Candidates who fail at any subject can apply for a re-exam (Back Paper). Candidates can submit the back paper in the online mode or download it by providing their challan number (for fee payment) & enrollment number. UPRTOU organizes the B.Ed entrance test in the General & Special Education (SE) category.

Those candidates, who have participated in the entrance can check out their score by simply visiting the site of UPRTOU. Students need to enter their roll number to download their scorecard.

UPRTOU 2024 Admissions Process:

The admission process for all the courses offered by the UPRTOU will be done through online mode. Candidates willing to apply are required to visit the website and submit an application form.

The minimum eligibility for undergraduate courses is class 12 with no fewer than 50% marks. Candidates having a graduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks can apply for master’s courses. Admission to MBA, MCA, and B.Ed programs are performed through National level Entrance Examinations and University operates Entrance examinations while over the remainder of the programs, admission is carried out based on merit in the pre-qualifying examination.

Candidates willing to take admission to the MBA program what do you want to appear for CAT, MAT, CMAT exam. While for B.Ed., the university conducts its own exam. Selected candidates based on their marks are taken into account for admission.
