Qualifying Exam:(General/ UR/ General- EWS) CANDIDATES WITH THE Post Graduate degree (PG) or any Masters Degree with Equivalent from any UGC Recognised University or Institution are going to be allowed to apply.

Age Criteria:
Assistance Professor: For The UG NET, there’s no upper age limit for the candidates.
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): The candidates who are applying for the JRF shouldn’t be more than 30 years of age as on 1st December 2021.
Age Relaxations: The candidates belonging to the ST/ SC/ PWD/ OBC- NCL/ Transgender/ women Category will get 5 Years of age relaxation.

Exemption (For Assistant Professor):
Candidates who have passed the JRF/ UGC/ CSIR exam before the year 1989 are exempted to participate within the UGC NET.
NET/ SET/ SLET is going to be the minimum eligibility condition that will remain the same for the appointment and therefore the requirement of the assistant professor in Institutions/ Universities.
The notice regarding the exemption of the NET/ SET/ SLET is going to be regulated by the UGC Regulations and also the notification of the amendments is going to be notified within the Gazette of India.

UGC NET 2021 Selection Procedure:
