How to Fill the OTET 2024 Application Form:

OTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

OTET is going to be applicable to all Applicants who will possess requisite academic and coaching qualifications with requisite percentage of marks and to all Applicants following the final year of the teacher training courses before the date of publication of advertisement for conducting OTET who can aspire to become lecturers for classes I to VIII within the schools of the State Govt., private aided schools and private unaided schools within the State of Odisha.

However, the Applicants willing to get job as teachers in private unaided schools shall even have the option of appearing at the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by Central Govt. through CBSE, if they so need. The Applicants once being qualified in OTET can also apply for any improvement. Persons having the following minimum qualifications shall be eligible for appearing in OTET.

Category-A (Paper- I):
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/ 2-year diploma in education.

Category-B (Paper-II):
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
Provided that relaxation 50% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, because the case could also be, shall be allowed to the Applicants belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC class.

OTET 2024 Admit Card:

Applicants should note that the OTET Admit card is a necessary document and that they got to carry it to the exam center.
Students can download the OTET admit card from the official website.
OTET Admit card will be released one week before the exam.
No Physical Admit Card is going to be sent to students appearing for the examination.
Students mustn’t forget their Admit card on the day of the exam. Otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat within the examination.

OTET 2024 Answer Key:

OTET answer keys along with OMR answer sheets will be relased by BSE Odisha on its official website after the written test is held as per the prescribed schedule. Applicants can check the answer key by clicking on the link present on the official website of BSE Odisha.

In case, an applicant has any objections with relation to queries or answers, he/ she will be able to submit it to the board within the stipulated date and time. “No objection shall be entertained after the date,” informs the official website. The fee for challenging one response in the OTET answer key is Rs five hundred. If any changes are made in the answer key by the board after the raise of objections, the final answer keys for the OTET test are discharged.

OTET 2024 Selection Procedure:

The validity of the OTET Certificate:
