NID Kurukshetra is also known as the NID Haryana was established in 2016 as an autonomous design institute under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, (DPIIT). NID Kurukshetra 2024 Application Form has been Released. Then the next step will be to enter the academic details, education details, category, and other related details.

As far as the fee is concerned, you can submit a fee by the medium Debit card. Credit cards and a total amount includes Rs.1500/- if the applicants are from OBC and General class they will be needed to pay Rs.750/-.

Those making the payment by Demand Drafts will need to send a copy of the form completing all over the procedures.

NID Kurukshetra 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Below we have provided the NID Kurukshetra Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria for the candidates to check before applying:

The candidates can continue with this Graduate Diploma Programme in Design course once they have met following on the eligibility requirements

  • The age must not be above 20 if you are wishing to decide on this course
  • Those candidates who are going to be having the birth certificate carrying 1 July 1996 will be considered for the exam.
  • Those with a birth certificate bearing 1 July 1993 would not be selected for admission to Design.
  • Aspirants must clear the 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks for taking admission to the Graduate Diploma Programme in Design. The institute from where they would be completing 10+2 are supposed to be renowned and the marks are to be applied.
  • The candidates from a particular class will be done on the basis of the seats as per decision on the part of the Government of India.

NID Kurukshetra 2024 Result:

The Result will be released through the online mode on the official website of the university. Applicants can check their results by entering their roll number and other required details in the website. The results for the entrance exam of the National Institute of Design, Kurukshetra (NIDK), have been declared at its transit campus which is located in Government Polytechnic, Umri, Kurukshetra.

It is an autonomous institute under the DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. In an official announcement, the institute releases the NIDK round 1 results of its four-year Graduate Diploma Program in Design (GDPD) for the school year 2024

NID Kurukshetra 2024 Admissions Process:

One time a candidate goes for the GDPD Programme and has made the necessary payment for registration will be proceed to the  Design Aptitude Test (DAT). It will contain one question paper that will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s), along with an OMR window for the candidates.

The language of the exam will be English. It will be of a total of 100 marks and will be held at the specified NID Exam Centres. Based on a candidate’s DAT Score, they will be shortlisted for the second straight round of exams in the NID Kurukshetra transit campus. It will be announced on the official website.

The second-round test will be a Studio/Situation Test that will be composed of several sections in different formats such as hands-on practical assignments, etc. The studio test will carry a total of 100 marks. The test will be held in English.

Depending on seats available, the top-ranking candidates will be provided admissions in the first merit list.

The score of the most recent candidate in the first merit list for the category will be considered as a cut-off score for the general category. Based on these, relaxation in the cut-off scores of candidates for the reserved categories will be as follows:

OBC-NCL SC ST PH
10% less than a cutoff score of General Category 20% less than the cutoff score of General Category 20% less than a cutoff score of General Category 30% less than a cutoff score of General Category

The unfilled seats would be based on the cutoff in merit or unavailability of the candidate in the OBC-NCL Category is going to be allotted to candidates of General Category.

Seats remaining vacant beneath the SC & ST categories shall not be allotted to candidates belonging to other categories. The list of selected candidates will be the final. No provisional admission be accepted for delay in submission of caste/category certificate.
