MICA Admission Test is an institution level entrance exam is held by the Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) twice in a year. The MICAT Exam 2027 will be held for providing admission in PGDM-C and PGDM programs of MICA Institutions.

How to Apply for MICAT 2027?

To register for the MICAT 2027 examination, candidates can follow the steps given below:

  • Step-1: Visit the official MICA website and access the admission section.
  • Step-2: Click on the “New Registration” option and provide your name, mobile number and email ID.
  • Step-3: Log in using the registered credentials and begin filling out the application form with your personal and academic information.
  • Step-4: Upload a recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format, and choose the preferred examination-centre city.
  • Step-5: Once the required details have been entered, pay the application fee through the available payment methods.

MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2027:

  • Qualification: For admission in both, PGDM (C) and PGDM will require a bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Appearing: Applicants appearing for final examinations of bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in 2027 are also eligible to apply.
  • Scores: To be eligible for admission in both offered programs, Applicants should have score of either CAT 2027, XAT 2027 and GMAT.

MICAT Exam Pattern 2027:

  • Mode of Examination: The exam will be held through online mode only.
  • Total Questions: Question Paper will contain the total 144 questions in the examination.
  • Duration: Applicants will total get 2 hours 45 minutes to solve the question paper.
  • Total Sections: Question paper will be divided in three sections.
  • Marking system: Each correct answer will carry +1 mark and incorrect answer will carry -0.25 Marks in the total.

MICA Selection Process 2027

Admission to MICA Ahmedabad includes the MICAT, or MICA Admissions Test, which is generally conducted in two phases. Appearing for both examinations is not compulsory. However, candidates who take both MICAT I and MICAT II may have their better score considered according to the applicable admission guidelines. Shortlisted applicants must subsequently participate in the final selection rounds, including GE and PI.

Step-I: Candidates must appear for one of the accepted management entrance examinations, namely CAT, XAT or GMAT.

Step-II: Candidates who have appeared for any of the accepted examinations can apply for MICAT. The MICAT assessment consists of the following sections:

  • Section A: Psychometric Test
  • Section B: Descriptive Test
  • Section C: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Divergent and Convergent Thinking

Step-III: GE & PI: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT performance will be required to participate in the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

MICAT Result 2027:

The result for MICAT 2027 will be released separately for both sessions. Official authority will release the result for every exam participate Applicants individually through online mode. Applicants will be able to check their result after few weeks from the completion of examination.

Official authority will release the MICAT Result 2027 in 21st December 2027 (MICAT I) and 18th February 2027 (MICAT II).

GE & PI Rounds

Group exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) rounds are the part of MICAT admission Procedure. Every shortlisted Applicants from the entrance examination will have to participate in the GE and PI round conducted in the institutions campuses.

The Group exercise (GE) round will be followed by the activities like group discussion with other participating Applicants, where PI round will be the personal interview with the staff of Institution. Qualified Applicants from the GE and PI round will be shortlisted for admission in their applied programs.

MICAT Admission Procedure 2027:

The admission Procedure will be followed by the three steps including CAT/XAT/GMAT score, MICA Admission Test (MICAT) and GE &PI rounds. Each candidate will have to qualify all these mentioned steps to be eligible for the admission in given programs of MICA.

Applicants will get selected for admission in offered programs on the basis of 20% of CAT/XAT/GMAT score, 30% of MICAT 2027 score, 20% of GE round score and 30% of PI round score.
