The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board, was established with the objective of carrying out all co-curricular activities related to secondary and higher secondary education. The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board conducts the Higher Secondary Education Examination and Higher Secondary Education Examination (SSC and HSC) for eligible candidates in the state of Jammu and Kashmir Cashmere.

Eligible candidates who want to appear for the SSC and HSC class exams have to appear for the exam in March 2024 organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. The official authority of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education will publish all the notifications and complete information regarding the admission procedure on the official website of the university in online mode for reference candidates.

• Through online mode on the official website of the school, the authority will release the application form for eligible candidates seeking admission to SSC and HSC classes.
• To do the admission procedure, candidates have to visit the official website of the university and register on the website by entering the necessary information such as name, email id, contact number, address, date of birth of surname, etc.
• On successful completion of the registration process, candidates will receive the login details including application number and password of the authority via mail on the registered email id provided at the time of registration sign.
• Using the login credentials, candidates need to log in to the official website of the university and then download the application form from the official website.
• After downloading the application form, one has to start filling all the necessary details in the application form, using the educational qualification documents.
• One should be careful to enter all the details carefully and completely in the application form using the degree documents.
• Applicants are required to upload some required documents in the application form, such as a scanned copy of photo and signature in the prescribed size and format as well as confirmation on the university’s official website.
• Applicants must submit the filled-in application form and print the duly filled-in application form and then pay the application fee as mentioned on the official website.

Educational qualifications for class HSC:

•  Candidates who qualify for SSC or class 11 from any board or renowned university in Jammu and Kashmir can get admission to HSC class only.

Educational qualifications for class SSC:

• However, one must have completed 9th standard from a primary school in Jammu and Kashmir to get admission in the SSC class.

Qualifying marks:

• Candidates must score 50% or more in the entrance exam to be admitted (45% score in case of reserve candidates).

JKSOS 2024 Admit Card

The admit card of the applicant is an important document that should be carried at the time of entrance exam as the authority will not allow applicants to appear for the entrance exam without admit cards. So applicants are instructed to get the admit card and carry the same along with them at the time of the entrance exam as it is a mandatory

The official authority will release the admit cards of the applicants in online mode on the official website of the university before few days of the date of commencement of entrance exam. In order to get the admit card applicants are requested to visit the official website of the university using the application number and password generated at the time of registration.

After entering the necessary details on the official website applicants need to download the admit card from the website and take some copies of the same for further usage. After downloading the admit card applicants are instructed to paste passport size photographs on the admit card. Must be kept confidential until the time of admission procedures

JKSOS 2024 Result

In May 2024, candidates will be able to receive their exam results in online mode on the university’s official website. The results will be announced by the competent authority a few weeks after the closing date of the entrance exam.

Using the roll number and date of birth, one has to download the results from the official website of the university and keep a few copies for later use. Candidates will get all additional details from the official website of the university itself.
