Biggest, Fastest, Tallest Dinosaurs

There is a lot of debate about which dinosaur is the biggest, smallest, smartest, etc. We don’t know for sure, but we can make an accurate guess using the latest information from paleontologists.

Largest – The largest dinosaur we currently know is Argentinosaurus. Paleontologists estimate it weighed up to 100 tons and was 120 feet long.

Smallest – Microraptor is probably the smallest dinosaur of all time. It was only about 16 inches long, about the size of a pigeon.

Largest Carnivore – Very large dinosaurs were all herbivores, but the largest carnivore was Spinosaurus. It weighs about 8 tons. The T-rex is also one of the largest carnivores.

Smartest – We don’t really know how smart dinosaurs were, but the best guess is that they weren’t very smart. The most intelligent, however, is probably Troodon. It is believed that the T-Rex is also quite intelligent for a dinosaur.

Dumbest – Stegosaurus is probably one of the dumbest dinosaurs. It was a giant animal with a brain the size of a ping pong ball.

Fastest – Ornithomimus was probably a very fast dinosaur. It looks a lot like an ostrich and can run as fast, if not faster, than an ostrich at 40 to 50 miles per hour.
