Applications for INO (Indian National Olympics) 2024 will be released soon. Candidates wishing to participate in the International Science Olympiad in a specific subject must register for the Indian National Olympiad (INO 2024).

The Indian National Olympiad (INO 2024) is the second stage after the NSE that allows contestants to get straight into the International Science Olympiad. INO (Indian National Olympics) will be organized by the official body of Homi Bhabha Science Education Center, TIFR, Mumbai.

For Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.
• Age: Applicants wishing to apply must be born between July 1, 2000 and June 30, 2005.
• Recognition: Applicants who have not completed their studies at a university or educational institution by June 1, 2024 will be eligible.

For Junior Science

• Exam: Candidates who want to apply for INO must have not taken any NSEA, NSEP, NSEB, NSEC exams.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply for INO.
• Age: Applicants wishing to apply must be born between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2006.

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2024 Syllabus

The details related to the INO Preparatory Syllabus are as mentioned below. Candidates who wish to register for exams in Biology/Chemistry/Physics can practice according to the high school program (grade XII) of the CBSE Council.

Candidates applying for Astronomy subjects can prepare under the CBSE Board’s High School Curriculum (Grade XII) in Physics and Mathematics.

However, to prepare junior science applicants, applicants can prepare from the high school level (to class X) of the CBSE program.

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2024 Selection

The official body that runs the INO (Indian National Olympic Games) will be responsible for the selection process of the candidates. The selection of qualified candidates will be based on the performance of the INO.

Official agencies will select each student for at least one Selection and Orientation Camp (OCSC). The selection will be made in the order of priority declared by the student when registering at INO. The OCSC will be led by HBCSE.

The INO results will be prepared by the official Olympic organizing body for the contestants. INO (India National Olympics) 2024 results will be updated on the official website for candidates to refer to.

However, the competent authority will conduct the final selection process based on the eligibility criteria and outcomes of the Orientation and Selection Camp (OCSC). After that, the final result of the preparation will be updated on the HBCSE page (there will be a separate link).

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2024 Awards

Candidates who score above the threshold will receive a certificate of merit from the authorities. But to get the certificate, the candidate must score above the threshold specified for the selection of OCSC for a particular subject.

The certificate will be prepared by the official authority. The candidate will receive a certificate from the competent authority of HBCSE. The certificates will be awarded in the OCSC. Candidates can also receive their certificates by post afterwards.
