Academic Qualification:

Assistant Professor:

Candidates with a ph.D. degree in accordance with University Grants Commission are exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of assistant professor in Universities/ Colleges/ institutions.
Candidates, those have cleared State Eligibility test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for assistant professor held before first June 2002, are exempted from appearing in NET.

Junior Research Fellowship:

The age of the candidates shouldn’t be more than 28 years as on 1 Jan 2020.
There will be age relaxation of up to five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC- NCL, and PWD class and additionally to women candidates.
Candidates with research expertise limited to the period spent on analysis within the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a most of five years on the production of a certificate from appropriate authority.
Candidates having L.L.M degree are eligible for three year age relaxation.
