What types of Persian Cats are there?
Persian cats come in a wide range of colors, including monochromatic colors like black, purple, red, cream, chocolate, and white. They also come in many styles like pointed, tortoiseshell, tabby and Himalayan. They also come in smaller toy versions as well as short hair versions like the Exotic Short Hair.

Persians are known for their flat faces. There are actually 3 types of faces:
Show Quality – The doll face has a bit more nose and is very round.
Doll Face (Breeder Quality) – The doll face has a bit more of a nose and is very round.
Pet Quality – The typical animal will have more noses and the face will not be perfectly round. This is probably a good thing because a face that is too flat can make it difficult for a cat to breathe and lead to breathing problems.

Persian cats are generally calm and easygoing cats. They love human attention and are social creatures, unlike some breeds of cats. Perhaps that is why they are such a popular pet breed. His temperament makes him a good cat for apartment living.
Does Persian Cats make a good pet?
