- Qualifying Exam: Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: Obtain minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum Age Limit: 17 Years as on 1st October 2025.
JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for BA (Hons.) (2nd Year) in German:
- Qualifying Exam: Pass 1st year of Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: Secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for BA (Hons.) (2nd Year) other than German:
- Qualifying Exam: Pass 1st year of Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: Secure minimum 45% marks in above exam.
JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.A (H) Arts:
Candidates ought to have completed Senior school Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of forty five percent marks.
JNU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for M.A. in Politics (with specialization in International Studies):
Candidates ought to have completed their graduation in any discipline underneath 10+2+3 education pattern with minimum fifty percent marks.
JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy):
Candidates ought to have a Bachelor Degree in Economics (H) with mathematics as a further subject.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree in mathematics (H) with economics as a further subject or bachelor degree in Statistics (H) with mathematics and economics as subsidiary subjects underneath 10+2+3 education pattern securing a minimum of fifty percent marks aggregate also are eligible.
JNU Eligibility Criteria 2025 for M.Sc in Life Sciences:
Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree either B.Sc. /B.Tech or Equivalent in Biological/ Physical/ Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology stream from any state or central recognised Institute/ University.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern from any state or nationally recognised Institute or university.

JNU 2025 Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc in Physics:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Physics as one of the topics in any discipline beneath 10+2+3 education pattern securing a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have qualified Bachelor’s Degree either in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics combined or in Physics Honours or with B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer also are eligible.
