Nationality:

• Students must reside in India. Must be a permanent resident of Assam and must provide a certificate to this effect.
• Issuance of permanent residence certificate is not applicable to sons/daughters of government employees. of Assam.

Minimum Marks:

• The minimum qualification for many candidates is H.S.S.L.C. (Sc.) (10+2) or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 45% for General Candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H).

Age Criteria:

• Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 24 as of December 31, 2023. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
