RRB Railway Group D New Exam Date 2025 Released, Check Full Exam Schedule

The RRB Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 offers 32,438 vacancies for various positions such as Track Maintainer, Helper, and Assistant. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be held from 17th November to 31st December 2025, conducted in three shifts daily across exam centres nationwide.

Both the city intimation slip and admit card can be downloaded by logging in with the candidate’s registration number and date of birth on the official RRB portal.

According to the RRB Group D New Exam Date 2025, the examination will be conducted in multiple shifts each day due to the large number of applicants and the extensive network of exam centres across India. The shift timings will be mentioned in the city intimation slips, which are expected to be released around 10 days before the first exam date (17th November 2025).

RRB Railway Group D Selection Process

The selection process for RRB Group D 2025 will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is the first stage, assessing candidates’ knowledge in general aptitude, science, reasoning, and general awareness.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This is qualifying in nature and includes physical tasks such as running and lifting, as per official standards.

3. Document Verification: Verification of eligibility, certificates, and identity documents.

4. Medical Examination: Conducted to ensure candidates meet the prescribed physical and medical fitness standards.

Candidates must clear each stage to progress to the next. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the CBT and qualification in the PET.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern

The RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering four subjects — Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs.

The exam duration will be 90 minutes, while candidates with disabilities (PwBD) using a scribe will be given 120 minutes. There will be negative marking — 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

• Aadhaar-based biometric verification is mandatory at the exam centre. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified printout. To avoid delays, Aadhaar should be verified and unlocked in advance on www.rrbapply.gov.in.

• The exam city, date, and travel authority link for SC/ST candidates will be activated about 10 days before the exam.

• Even if Aadhaar verification was completed during the application process, candidates must ensure their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system before the examination.
