Velociraptor was a dinosaur that lived about 75 million years ago in the late Cretaceous. He is best known for his role in the movie Jurassic Park. However, in the movie, it is said to be much larger than the real dinosaur. Velociraptor was discovered in 1924 by paleontologist H. F. Osborne.

Velociraptor was a fairly small dinosaur. It is about 6 feet long from tip of tail to nose and about 3 feet tall. He weighs about 30 pounds.

This dinosaur was bipedal (bipedal) and could run very fast, possibly up to 40 miles per hour. It has 80 very sharp teeth and sharp claws on its feet and hands.
