Qualification

Candidates willing to get admission into Ph.D. (Horticulture) course should have secured a minimum CGPA of 6.50/10.00 in M.Sc.(Horticulture) from ICAR Accreditated Universities whereas candidates willing to get admission into Master’s Degree in Horticulture must have passed the relevant Bachelor’s Degree i.e, B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture and have secured a minimum CGPA of 5.50/10.00.

Age: The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st July 2026

For M.Sc. (Horticulture)

Applicants will be selected for this program on the basis of their performance in the Entrance test (50%) for General and OBC candidates. Those candidates scored 50% or more, they will be eligible for interview/counseling which is relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates to the extent of seats reserved for them.

For Ph.D. (Horticulture)

Candidates will be selected for M.Sc.(Hort.) (M.Sc.(Hort.) – 30%, B.Sc(Hort.) – 20%, and performance in Entrance Test (50%) for General & OBC candidates without Interview are eligible for counseling.
