Jadavpur University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the important information regarding the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

Educational qualification:

• HSC exam should be completed by the applicant from a known board or university in order to get admission.
• In order to get admission in ME/M.Tech., M.Pharma., M.Arch. the course must have completed engineering graduate degree, B.Pharm degree, B.Arch. degree from a known university respectively.
• A Bachelors’s degree should be completed by the applicant from a known university in order to get admission to B.P.Ed., MA or B.L.I.Sc. course
• Applicants willing to get admission to M.P.Ed. the course must have completed B.P.Ed. or B.Sc. Degree from a known university or institution.
• One must have completed B.L.I.Sc. degree from a recognized university in order to get admission in M.L.I.Sc. course.

Compulsory subjects:

• One should have physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Selection process:

• Conducting authorities will offer admission to the applicants in BE/B.Tech/B.Arch. course on the basis of the WBJEE 2024.
• And applicants who hold a valid scorecard of NATA are eligible to get admission in B.Arch. course.
• However, applicants willing to get admission in ME/M. Tech., M.Pharma., M.Arch. the course must have a valid score card of GATE or GPAT.

Qualifying marks:

• General category applicants should score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• And reserved category applicants should score more than 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Conducting authorities will conduct an entrance exam for only a few courses.
