TNOU 2024 Application Form
TNOU Admission 2024 Application Form has been Released on 10th April 2024 for Various Courses. Candidates applying for Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate, Diploma, and PG Diploma programs provided by the Tamil Nadu Open University [TNOU] must go through the specified study centres to get the application forms and prospectus. The final selection of the candidates rests on completing the qualifications for the exam, followed by counselling.
- The Application Form can be obtained by study centres on the payment of Rs. 100/-.
- Application forms may also be obtained from the Deputy Registrar, MPDD, TNOU, 577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai– 600 015 by post on payment of Rs.150/- by the demand draft that was released in favour of the Tamil Nadu Open University payable at Chennai.
- Admission forms should be presented to the study centres on or before April 30th or October 31st of the academic year.
- Upon presentation of the Application Form, the Study Centre would make a statement of acknowledgement to the Applicant and transmit the Forms to the Zonal Centres.
- The Admission Wing, after a detailed examination of the Application Forms, shall allot the Enrollment Number and send ID Cards to the Study Centres for transmission to students.
- Then will, the students may quote their Enrollment Number in all their additional references with the University.
- Applicants who want to enrol for a Diploma/ Certificate Program under the scheme of Dual Registration shall be required to submit a separate Application Form.

TNOU 2024 Result:
Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) releases its result a few days after the examination. Candidates willing to check for the TNOU result can check the result links bulleted below.
TNOU provides various semester and annual courses. To obtain admission into the university, candidates need to clear the TNOU Entrance Examination, which is scheduled to be performed during January.
TNOU 2024 Admissions Process:
The university offers 44 concentrations of UG Courses beneath many fields such as B.A., B.Com., BBA, BCA, and B.Sc., etc., whereas at PG level, the University offers 34 specializations in many fields such as M.A., M.Sc. M.Com., MBA, MCA, M.L.I.Sc., etc.
The University also offers candidates various UG and PG Diploma courses. In addition to all, there are stipulations of various certificate courses with the basic eligibility criteria as 10+2 standard.
For UG
Admission to UG courses is based on marks scored by the candidate in the 12th or comparable from a recognized board. Selection will be done based on marks scored in the TNOU BPP (Tamil Nadu Open University – Bachelor’s Preparatory Program) exam.
For PG
Candidates applying for PG courses must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University/Institute and with a minimum 50% aggregate. Selection will be made based on marks gained in the Bachelor’s degree.
For Diploma Courses
The Institute is providing Diploma Courses at the UG and PG levels. Candidates requesting these courses at UG level must also be high-school graduates (10+2), and for those that apply to the PG diploma courses, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is mandatory.
