Sambalpur University 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must go through the Sambalpur University2025 Eligibility Criteria before applying:

Common Eligibility

• Nationality: The applicant should be an Indian citizen
• Age limit: It is not updated by the authorities.
• Recognition: The qualification should be completed by a recognized University or Institution.

PG course

• Qualification: One needs to complete the Graduation or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum Marks: General category must have a score minimum of 45% and the reserved category must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Note: The applicant who holds a valid scorecard of MAT will be exempted from the entrance exam and will be selected based on MAT scores.

M.Phil. and Ph.D. course

• Qualification: One needs to complete their Master’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum Marks: General category must have a score minimum of 55% and the reserved category must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Selection criteria: Entrance Test followed by Viva Voce

Sambalpur University 2025 Selection Process 

For the reference of the applicants, we have provided the basic information regarding the Sambalpur University 2025 Selection Process that one should know. The conducting authorities will offer admission to the deserving applicants based on the entrance test except for the B.Tech course.

The applicants willing to get admission in Ph.D. courses need to appear for the written test and viva-voce conducted by the conducting authorities and score well. The applicants willing to get admission in any other courses except B.Tech courses need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the conducting authorities.

However, the applicants who hold a MAT scorecard and willing to get admission to the MBA course are exempted from appearing for the entrance exam. The conducting authorities will be providing admission to the applicants based on their performance in the Entrance Test and Viva-voce.
