• In online mode, applicants need to register themselves on the official website of the university.
• After that applicants have to start filling out the application form with the help of the educational qualification documents by entering some important details such as personal, educational, course-related details, parents’ details, contact and communication details, etc.
• Candidates then need to upload the required documents in the application form as per their requirements.
• Then print the completed application form after filling the form and paying the application fee as mentioned on the official website of the university.

• General category candidates have to pay RS 150/- as registration fee for the entrance exam.

NTSE Assam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• For the entrance exam, SSC class candidates studying in public, local, public or private schools can only participate in Phase 1 of the exam conducted by SCERT.

Qualifying marks:

• Candidates in the general category must achieve over 55% of the entrance exam score.
• Candidates in the reserve category must achieve over 50% of the entrance exam score.

NTSE Assam 2023 Paper Pattern

The important information related to the paper pattern is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

• The entrance test for candidates will be conducted for two hours only in offline mode.
• The entrance exam consists of two tests: MAT (Mental Aptitude Test) and SAT (Scholarly Aptitude Test).
• MCQ type questions will be asked in the exam.
• Candidates must appear with 100 questions scoring 100 marks in the exam.
• Correct questions in the test will be awarded points if the test does not have a negative score.

NTSE Assam 2023 Admit Card

The admit card is an important document for candidates and will be made available online by the official authorities. However, the admission card is the candidate’s card to take the entrance exam and it must be carried with you when taking the entrance test as a mandatory thing.

Candidates need to visit the official website of the university to get their admit card using their application number and password. Candidates need to download the admit card from the website and keep a few copies of the admit card.

The results are available only for those candidates who successfully appeared in the entrance exam on the official website of the university. After completing the entrance exam, candidates must visit the school’s official website.

After visiting the official website of the university, candidates have to upload their results on the official website with their application number and date of birth. After downloading the results from the website, candidates are advised to keep some copies of the downloaded results for future use and keep them safe till the time of admission procedure.

The results will be required at the time of admission procedure as based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, the competent authority will grant them admission to the institution. NTSE Assam 2023 Selection Procedure

The official bodies have adopted a two-stage selection process for eligible candidates to allow admission of candidates. In the respective phase, the Union Territories will conduct NTSE entrance exam for candidates in November 2023. And the second phase will be conducted by NCERT for candidates in May 2023.
