North Orissa University was established in the year 1998 under the Government of Odisha and the University is recognized by the UGC in 2000. At present, 82 universities of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts are plugged under the university. The university also consist of two autonomous universities and the two Law colleges according to its branch. North Orissa University aims to bestow quality education at UG, PG, M.Phil. and Ph.D. level.

University has an adopted Choice Based Credit System in all its courses. The courses are delivered under the faculty of arts, science & Commerce. • North Odisha University 2023 Application Form will be Releasing soon for UG & PG Courses.
• The application for all the courses will be submitted through online as well as offline.
• For offline applications mode, the form can be downloaded from the university website.
• The payment is due in form of Demand Draft released in favor of Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, payable at Baripada.
• For the online applications mode, payments can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

North Orissa University is offering distance courses under the Directorate of Distance Education. The following UG courses are being offered for distance learning by the university.

North Odisha University 2023 Result

North Orissa University, Result will be released through online mode on the official website of the university.

The exams will be held twice in a year in months of May and December. Candidates must periodically visit the official website in order to check the result notification.

University Calendar and Exam Schedule may be directly accessed on the university website. The admit card is connected below the application form. Admit card is to be filled with the right credentials and get signed by the concerned authority.

The application form may be filled through both online as well as the offline mode. NOU organizes entrance exam for admission to various courses.  NOU also provides provision for distance education. North Odisha University 2023 Admissions Process

Below we have provided the North Odisha University 2023 Admission Process for the candidates to refer:

Offering 12 self-finance and 8 regular PG courses for the length of 2 years.

• The admission to the PG courses would be based upon the entrance test held by the university.
• The test will include the 50 objective questions based on the graduation subject.
• The test is for the entire duration of 1 hour.
• The minimum marks for qualifying the exam is 30%.

Offering 4 self-financing and 7 ordinary M.Phil. courses for the duration of 1 year.

• The admission to the M.Phil. courses would be based upon the entrance test (50 multiple choice questions) undertaken by the university.
• The qualified applicants will be invited for the interview.
• UGC- CSIR/ NET/ Gate qualified candidates do not need to apply for the entrance test.

Offers 19 Pre-Ph.D and Ph.D. courses under the Department of Arts and Science.

• The admission to the Ph.D. courses would be based upon the entrance test (50 multiple choice questions) undertaken by the university.
• The qualified applicants will be invoked for the interview.
• UGC- CSIR/ NET/ Gate qualified candidates are not required to appear for the entrance test.
• Nominees with M.Phil degree in relevant subjects are also exempted from the entrance tests.
