Calculation of NCHMCT JEE 2024 Score:
The NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam is going to be conducted in several slots and thus the difficulty level of the question papers of all the various slots will vary. To counter this, the conducting body will prepare a Normalised Score for NCHMCT JEE 2024. Through this process, the exam conducting body will make sure that no student is in an advantageous or disadvantageous position due to the difficulty level of the NCHMCT JEE question paper. Under the normalisation process:
The normalised score of the candidates is going to be less than the actual marks if he/she appeared within the slot which was relatively easy.
The normalised score of the candidate is going to be more than the actual marks if he/she appeared within the slot which was relatively tougher.
The normalisation score is calculated by the normalisation formulae which is:
(Total number of candidates within the ‘Slot’ with aggregate marks but the candidate/ Total number of candidates within the ‘Slot’)*100
NCHM JEE 2024 Merit List:
NCHMCT JEE 2024 merit list are going to be prepared by NTA on the basis of marks secured by the candidates. After the announcement of the result, the separate merit list is going to be maintained on the basis of cut-off marks. Only those applicants who have made it to the merit list are going to be called in for NCHMCT JEE 2024 counselling. Applicants who aren’t eligible are going to be disqualified from participating within the counselling session. just in case applicants secure equal marks, the merit is going to be determined as
The applicant, who has scored higher marks in English section, is going to be ranked higher.
In the case of applicants securing equal marks in NCHMCT JEE, also as in English component of NCHMCT JEE, then the candidate securing higher marks in service Aptitude Component of NCHMCT JEE are going to be ranked higher.
If there’s still a tie after considering the above mentioned two scenarios, then the applicant older in age are going to be ranked higher.
Tie-Breaker Policy for NCHMCT JEE 2024:
The All-India Merit List prepared by the concerned authority may contain a variety of students who have scored the same marks. In such a scenario, a tie-breaker method is going to be applied on the basis of:
Marks obtained within the English section of NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam.
Marks secured by the candidates within the Aptitude for Service Sector section.
Candidates who are older.
