MCD Nursing Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualifications:

• Candidates who want to appear for the entrance exam must have passed the HSC exam from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates are also eligible to register for the entrance exam if they have completed the ANM HSC professional course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

Qualifying marks:

• Candidates belonging to the general category must score over 50% in the HSC exam.
• Candidates must score at least 45% in the competency assessment test, the HSC exam, if they belong to the preparatory category.

Appearing applicants:

• Applicants who are appearing for the final exam of the HSC are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Medical fitness:

Candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate approved by the medical board of Kasturba Hospital, Hindu Rao Hospital and Swami Daya Nand Hospital at the time of admission.

Age criteria:

• Applicants must be over 17 years old at the time of admission.
• Applicants under 35 years old can only register for the entrance exam.
• The university has not set any age limit for ANM or LHV applicants.
