Kerala Agricultural University 2025 Exam Pattern
For MBA Course: Admission will be done on the basis of the marks in the KMAT, CAT, or CMAT after Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be conducted by KAU.
The general applicant must have the Academic Performance in the qualifying degree examination.

For B.Sc-M.Sc (5 Year) Integrated and B.Sc (Hons) courses: The selection of candidates will be based on an Entrance Exam held by KAU. The questions will be objective type and based on the +2 syllabuses.
The centers of the entrance examination will be decided by the University in line with the applicants. Allotment to the course will be through the rank list released by the University.
For Diploma in Agriculture and Organic Science: According to scores obtained in Biology, Physics & Chemistry in +2 or correspondent examination. For reserved seats, as per marks in VHSE (Agri) course.
In case there is a draw, total marks/ marks in Biology/age of the aspirant, etc in the falling order of precedence will be thought-out.
For PG Programmes: Considering the Master’s degree program there will be an entrance examination of two hours’ duration. The questions will be present in the objective multiple-choice answer type. There will be present a common entrance examination for each program as listed below:
- M.Sc.(Ag.) /M Sc. (Hort.): Entrance examination of 2 h. duration with questions from B Sc. (Ag.) syllabus of KAU
- M.Sc. Home Science (F S&N): Entrance examination with questions from B Sc. Home Science syllabus
- M.Sc. (Ag. Stat.): Entrance examination with questions from B Sc. (Mathematics / Statistics) syllabus
- M.Sc.(Forestry) : Entrance examination with questions from B Sc. (Forestry) syllabus of KAU

Candidates will be selected for admission when they require a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance examination. The minimum is 35% for SC/ST candidates.
