JNTU, Anantapur 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate willing to get admission into B.Tech. The course will have to have passed the Intermediate Examination of AP State Middle-level Board of Education or with an equivalent examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and must have scored a valid rank for EAMCET Examination held by APSCHE. The seat portion is made by the Convener, EAMCET as per the rules of A.P. State Government and APSCHE.
• In each certainly, there are 18 Convener contingents seats and 7 Sponsored Category seats. For Convener quota seats, apart from the required qualifying degree, it is necessary that the candidate have a valid GATE Rank or PGECET Rank.

JNTU Anantapur 2023 Admissions Process

Entry into the Second Year of Four year B.Tech Degree Programme ( lateral entry): As per the existing stipulations of A.P State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Government of Andhra Pradesh, the candidates who have conceded the qualifying Degree/Diploma and who have scored a valid rank in ECET Examination are suitable for admission into the Second Year of Study of corresponding Engineering Branch. The admissions will be made by the Convener, ECET as per the specific rules of A.P. State Government and APSCHE.

Entrance into the Second Year of Four year B.Pharmacy Degree program ( lateral entry): As per the existing stipulations of A.P State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Government of Andhra Pradesh, the candidates who have passed the qualifying Degree/Diploma and who have got a binding rank in ECET Examination are eligible for admission into the Second Year of Study of corresponding Engineering Branch. The admissions will be made by the Convener, ECET in accordance with the stipulated regulations of A.P. State Government and APSCHE.

For Sponsored Category, in addition to qualification degree, the Candidate must be employed with a minimum service of one year in any organization and the organization has to sponsor him/her. Admissions for this category are made through notifications for Spot Admissions. The order of preference tracked in admissions is a valid GATE score/ valid PGECET Rank/Percentage marks in the qualifying examination  (Minimum 50%). If any remaining seats are available in Convener Quota, they will also be filled in the Spot Admissions.

For Sponsored Category, in a supplement to the qualifying degree, the Candidate must be employed with a minimum benefit of one year in any association and the organization has to support them. Admissions for this category are made through an announcement for Spot Admissions. The order of preference followed in given admissions is valid GPAT score/ valid PGECET Rank/Percentage marks in the qualifying examination  (Minimum 50%). If any leftover seats have been available in Convener Quota, they will also be filled in the Spot Admissions.

Candidate willing to get admission into MBA should have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination with mathematics as one of the subject OR would have appeared for the closing year Bachelor’s Degree  Examination with mathematics as one of the subject in any faculty other than BFA and BOL bestowed via the Universities in the State of Andhra Pradesh at the time of opting for the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET).
