Nationality: As per CMAT eligibility criteria candidates should be a citizen of India.
Age limit: there’s no age limit for applying to CMAT 2025. Educational Qualification: Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree beneath the 10+ 2+3 system will apply. Even the final year graduation candidates provided their result has been declared before admission.
The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) whose result is declared before commencement of admission for the tutorial year 2025-20 can also apply for the CMAT-2025 Computer Based Test (CBT).
CMAT Reservation 2025:
For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable to that specific institute. Just in the case of institutes run by the Central Government.
15% of the seats are reserved for the class Scheduled Caste (SC).
7.5% for the class Scheduled Tribe (ST).
27% for the class other Backward classes belonging to the “ Non Creamy layer” (OBC-NCL).
Each class can have 5% reservations for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as defined within the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016).
Other Backward Classes: Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) are as per the Central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India web site www.ncbc.nic.in Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC within the category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
Persons with Disabilities: (PwD) means a person with not less than forty percent (40%) of a specified disability where specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms and includes a person with disability wherever such as disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority. “Specified Disability” suggests that the disabilities are as per the Schedule of the RPwD Act 2016.
Categories of disabilities are:
Blindness and low vision.
Deaf and hard of hearing.
Locomotor disability together with cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy.
Autism, intellectual disability, such as Learning Disability and Mental Illness, and Multiple disabilities from amongst persons beneath clauses (i) to (iv) Other ‘specified disabilities’ mentioned within the Schedule of the RPwD Act 2016.
No change within the class is entertained after the last date of the CMAT-2025 application form and no subsequent changes are effective for CMAT Score 2025.
Please visit the office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Social Justice dated twenty-nine August 2018 (F.No.34-02/2015-DD-III), guideline IV, second paragraph.
The candidates who need a scribe/reader as per the above can submit the request in writing to the Centre Superintendent for the same together with a disability certificate issued by the authorized medical officer at least one week before the examination date.
The Centre Superintendent can identify the scribe/ reader from the students who are studying one class lower. just in case a request is received from the candidate, he/she would be allowed to meet the scribe each day before the examination to verify the suitability of the scribe.

M.B.A/P.G.D.M:
The candidate should have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by the state/central government.
The bachelor’s degree should be of a minimum three-year duration.
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% just in case of SC/ST candidates) within the bachelor’s degree.

Executive P.G.D.M:
The candidate should have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by the state/central government.
The bachelor’s degree should be of a minimum three-year duration.
The candidate should have a minimum of five years of work expertise.
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% just in case of SC/ST candidates) within the bachelor’s degree.
P.G.C.M:
The candidate should have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by the state/central government.
The bachelor’s degree should be of a minimum three-year duration.
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% just in case of SC/ST candidates) within the bachelor’s degree.
