Educational Qualification:

• HSC or equivalent must be completed by a recognized board.
• Bachelor of Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing must be completed from a recognized university.

Subject:

• Applicants must have completed the HSC in science with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Qualifying marks:

• General class candidates must score over 50% and preparatory class candidates must score at least 45% in the HSC exams.

Age criteria:

• The applicant must not be less than 17 years of age and not more than 22 years of age as of December 31, 2025. Only a date of birth registered with the Board of Secondary Education (Class X certificate) will be valid.
• The upper age limit is extended to a maximum of 25 years from December 31, 2025 for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with at least two subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and have passed pass the remaining subjects in the intermediate exam or equivalent.

Work experience:

• The candidate must have one year work experience after the basic B.Sc. Nursing course.

B.Sc. Nursing Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: The authority conducts OAT (Online Admission Test), It means the exam will be held Online Mode.
• Exam Duration: The paper will be of 2 hours duration.

Syllabus For B.Sc Entrance Test:

The general standard of the entrance examination will be that of 11th and 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/ pre-medical/ intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University /CBSE.

Syllabus For M.Sc. Entrance Test:

The Entrance examination will be based on the syllabi of a B.Sc. Nursing prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

• The Question Paper will have two parts; Part A and Part B.
• Part A: will contain questions from General English, General Knowledge, Biological Sciences, Nursing Administration and Management, Research, and Statistics.
