Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) was established on January 2, 1996 along with Odisha University Secondary Education in Orissa state. Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha is an education board for public and private schools under the state government of Odisha, India. BSE, established under the Odisha Education Act, 1953, the board controls and maintains all necessary secondary education in the State of Odisha.

BSE is affiliated with all government schools, private schools and colleges in the state of Odisha. It also operates the Secondary Council High School as a secondary modern school. Important Point Remember

  • The duration of the Exam will be of 3 Hours.
  • It is advised that students must report to the examination center at least 30 mins before.
  • Students will get an extra 15 mins just to read the question papers only.
  • It is compulsory to carry their admit card. Otherwise, they will not allow sitting in the exam.
  • Students should not opt for any unfair means of writing the exam. If caught by the examiner student may not opt for the Odisha HSC/10th examination for the next 3 years.
