- Applicants must register through the official website of the IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) 2023.

IJSO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) 2023 are described in the next section, which applicants should refer to.
- Age: Applicants interested in participating in the 2023 IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) must be under the age of 15.
- Nationality: Applicants must have a valid passport from their country
- Regular Team: A group of 6 people is considered a regular team.
- Minimum Team: A group of 3 people is considered a minimum team.
Important Note: The applicants will not be permitted to use their invented formulas from any of the subjects such as (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, etc. during the exam.
IJSO 2023 Exam Pattern

- Exam Language: The IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) 2023 exam will be conducted in English only, but countries can choose their language.
- Exam Duration: Candidate will have 3-4 hours for him to complete each task.
- Number of Papers: The IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) 2023 exam will be conducted in three parts:
- MCQ – 30 Marks
- Practical – 40 Marks
- Theory – 40 Marks
- Number of Questions: Paper 1 will have 30 questions in total which means each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) will have 10 questions.
- Marking scheme: The applicants will get 1 mark for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: The applicants will lose .25 for each wrong answer.
- Stages: The exam pattern for the IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) 2023 is divided into 5 different phases as described below.
- Stage 1: NSEJS (National Standardized Examination for Junior Sciences). Managed by IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers). Only the top 300 can participate in the second stage.
- Stage 2: INJSO (Indian National Junior Science Olympiad), conducted by HSCSE. At this stage, only the top 35 applicants can advance to the third stage, but they must be on the grade list.
- Stage 3: OCSC (Orientation and Selection Camp) also he conducted by HBCSE and lasts 2-3 weeks.
- Stage 4: PDTC (Pre-Departure Training Camp). Applicants are divided into her teams of six and must go through a training process that includes experiments and theory organized by HBCSE. The top 6 applicants will be considered winners of the merit list and she will also receive a prize worth Rs 5,000.
- Stage 5: Final entry to the IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad). Only 12 applicants (2 teams of 6 each) will be selected, along with the applicant will be her 3 teachers, all representing India.
