For B. Tech Program:
The candidates will be able to apply directly through the official website of JoSAA.
For M. Tech, M. Sc and Ph.D. Programs:
- The Application Form will be released on the official website.
- The candidates must submit the duly filled application forms and a Demand Draft of INR 500 (INR 250 for SC, ST & PWD job applicants).
- The application charge for the Ph.D. program is INR 1500 (INR 100 for SC, ST & PWD candidates).
- DD needs to be drawn in favor of “NIT Durgapur” which must be paid at Durgapur.
The completed form and DD must be dispatched in person or by post to:

NIT, Durgapur Reservation Criteria: Physically handicapped, Ex-Servicemen, Sportspersons, and other eligible candidates have the right to the reservation under the rules adopted by the Government of India.
NIT, Durgapur Scholarship: The candidates are eligible to receive scholarships for all the programs on the basis of their scores in the corresponding qualifying examinations. The scholarship of INR 8000 on a monthly basis regarded selected full-time GATE qualified candidates opting for the M.Tech program.

The applicants should have scored 75% marks or a position in the top 20 percentile in 10+2 from an accredited board for M.Tech admission, 55% of marks are necessary for the B.E/B.Tch degree.
