NIT Calicut Admission 2023 Application Form will be Releasing soon. National Institute Of Technology, Calicut, is also known as the NIT Kolkata, was established in 1961, and is one of the oldest NITs in India. NIT Calicut provides a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Science, and Architecture & Planning. Popular courses provided by the university are BTech, BArch, MBA, MTech, MPlan, MSc, MCA, and PhD.

The mode of application at NIT Calicut will be through online mode. Admission to all the courses will be based on the scores got by the candidates in various national-level entrance exams (for example, JEE Mains/GATE) and counselling.   • Take the printed copy of the duly filled form.
  • Pay off the application fee of INR 600 (INR 300 for SC/ST) through DD drawn in favor of “Director NIT Calicut” payable directly at the State Bank of India, NIT Calicut Branch (Code No. 2207).

NIT Calicut 2023 Admissions Process:

NIT Calicut provides Ph.D. in different streams of Engineering, Management, Architecture & Basic Sciences. A Master’s degree regarding discipline with 60% marks (55% with respect to the SC/ST) in the aggregate are eligible to apply. Selection takes place on the basis of a written test and/ or personal interview conducted by the concerned Department.

This test was designed to analyze the aptitude of the candidates in the direction of the selected subject which includes research methodology and subject-specific information that are relevant to the course. The institute also offer MBA and MCA courses at PG level for the duration of two and three years respectively.

Any graduate may request an MBA while the candidates must have studied Mathematics for being one of the main subjects at the qualifying degree for the level MCA. CAT score followed by GD/ PI is a basic admission criterion for the MBA program. CMAT/ CAT qualified candidates can apply under MBA (Sponsored) category. The candidates must have qualifications in the NIMCET in order to guarantee admission to MCA.

The minimum eligibility norms for all these courses is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields from a recognized university. M.Tech and M.Plan admission is based on the score in GATE followed closely by Counselling (CCMT) while M.Sc admission will be done through JAM score followed by CCMN, a counseling process.
