UAS is known as the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad is a nation agriculture university founded by the Government of Karnataka which teaches education, research & expansion activities in the fields of agriculture, forest-based industries, nutritional science, agricultural marketing & home science. University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (UASD) was founded by the Govt. of Karnataka with a mission of imparting higher education institutions and promoting research in agriculture, forestry, food science, consent to marketing, and home science. The university provides graduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in the above-mentioned fields.

At a time when the undergraduate programs are offered at four campuses of the university, namely, Dharwad, Bijapur, Hanumanamatti as well as Sirsi in the five-degree program in such as, B.Sc. (Agri.); B.Sc. (Ag. Maco); B.Sc. (For.); B.H.Sc. and B.Sc. Enter your registration detail and register yourself.
Fill in all necessary details like personal, academic, programs & other related details.
After that provide all the necessary images scanned of photograph, signature & other necessary documents.
In the application form, candidates must choose the application for course submitted an application to, percentage, personal details, address and other details of payment application fee.

Candidate should have passed two years PUC science examination which is conducted by Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka OR he/she must have completed an examination holding equivalent value with the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & a science subject

He/she has passed two years PUC science examination of the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka with Inter-Agriculture as the main subject.

Note: If he/ she is a Kashmiri migrant applying for admission, the directions issued by the Government of Karnataka will be followed. If he/ she has cleared ICAR, the admission will be governed by the guidelines of ICAR. He/ she does not have to take the CET examination which is conducted by the Government of Karnataka.

The admission is made on the basis of the academic performance of the candidate in PCB in the II year PUC Science examination.
The admission procedure is subjected to the verification process of the original marks card and other details mentioned in the application such as seat availability, fee payment by the last date issued by the university, registration of courses by the last date to do the same, submission of Transfer Certificate by the candidate from the previous institute.
The admission procedure is strictly merit-based subjected to fulfillment of the above-mentioned guidelines, except for the reserved seats meant for agriculturists or children/ award of agriculturists and ICAR nominees. In case of unfilled reserved seats, these shall admit students from the general category, again based upon the above-set guidelines.

Candidate should hold a postgraduate degree with a minimum CGPA / OGPA of 2.50/4.00 or 6.50 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA OR he/she holds a degree of equivalent value from a recognized Agricultural University in the subject of interest that the candidate wishes to pursue research in.
For SC/ ST/ Cat-I candidates, they should have completed post-graduation and must be a clear pass.
If the candidates who seek admission in Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, hold a post-graduation degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology / Plant Biotechnology / Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Botany / Agricultural Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Agricultural Entomology / Crop Physiology / Nematology / Agronomy / Horticultural Sciences / Seed Science and Technology/ Forestry / Plant Biochemistry / Soil Science, can apply.
If he/she holds a post-graduation degree in Agricultural Marketing and Co-op./Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness Management from a recognized Agricultural University, he/she is eligible to apply for Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management.

UAS Dharwad 2023 Result will be released soon through online mode on the official website. University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (UASD) is a government agriculture university that was founded in 1986. University provides different graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses.

The university is followed by the semester system to carry out the examinations. The result for the examinations is declared on the official website of the university. Candidates need to visit the website regularly updates on results and examinations.

UAS Dharwad 2023 Admissions Process:

The postgraduate programs have an important minimum period of six semesters. This can be extended to a maximum of 12 semesters without taking any break, counted from the student’s date of admission.

The university has received the provision of the take-back to doctoral (and postgraduate programs). Candidates applying for readmission should be finished within the deadline issued by the university. Interested candidates must submit an application directly to Registrar, UAS, Dharwad- 580005.

Those interested in becoming professional managers in major fields of agriculture business activities have the opportunity to submit an application for these unique programs. These are the only management programs that are provided by the university.

The postgraduate programs have an essential minimum duration of 4 semesters. The maximum duration of the same, as per the university regulations will be eight semesters, count up from the student’s date of admission.

For postgraduate programs, there are also seats offered on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination such as 3 reserved seats are presented to the children of Ex-Serviceman/Defence/Freedom-fighter, 3% seats for physically handicapped as per the norms laid down by the Government, one seat on behalf of contender who performed exceptionally well during their undergraduate in sports and games, NCC, NSS and Cultural/ Literary/ Fine arts activities.
