The University offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the Faculty of Arts, Science, and Technology, Social Science, Commerce, Education, Information technology and Applied Arts.

Below we have provided the Important Dates to apply for PSSOU 2023 Admission for the candidates to refer:

PSSOU 2023 Application Form

PSSOU 2023 Application Form has been Released on 1st December 2022 for Various Courses. The admission process will be held through online on the official website of PSSOU. Admissions will begin with the registration procedure.

Candidates must enter details such as name, gender, mobile number, email id, etc. Along with the details, a scanned copy of a passport size photograph and signatures must be uploaded. Further, to obtain registration id and your password, candidates will have to make the payment of the given amount.

With the help of registration id and password, candidates will log in names and then enter the academic details and other details. Once it is completed, upload a scanned copy of higher secondary level certificates and other necessary documentation and take the print out of the completely full Application Form. The form, along with original documents needs to be taken to the allotted admission center for verification.

PSSOU 2023 Admissions Process

PSSOU provides a number of UG courses beneath a Faulty of Arts, Science and Technology, Social Science, Commerce, Education, Computer Science & Applied Arts. The courses which are included in those departments are- BA, B. Sc. Biology, B. Sc. Mathematics, B. Com, B. Lib. I. Sc. and B. Ed. The duration of all the courses is 3 years except B. Lib. I. Sc. and B. Ed.

The course duration for B. Lib. I. Sc. and B. Ed is 1 year and 2 years respectively. It’s crucial to note that admission to B. Ed will be held on the basis of the entrance test which will also be carried out prior to the completion of the PSSOU admission process possibly by the month of August.

Candidates willing to get admission in the B. Ed course must apply for the entrance exam, candidates must have teaching experience of minimum duration asked by PSSOU authorities. The beginning date of the implementation process for this course is the 1st week of June.

Interested candidates can register themselves by the 3rd week of August. The current selection of the candidates will be done after the documents have been duly verified for all the courses. Candidates belonging to ST or Minority category will be awarded to scholarship in accordance with the Government of India’s provisions.

The admission to PG courses begins at the same time as UG Admissions, i.e., the 1st week of July, (tentatively). The university provides PG courses in various streams, the courses include MBA, M. Sc., M.A., LLM & MSW. The course duration is 2 years for all the courses in addition to the MBA that is of 3 years. The language of course material is available on English and Hindi for LLM and MA courses, nonetheless, the teaching material for other PG courses are being made available in Hindi only.

Scholarship Details

PSSOU provides a scholarship to candidates who belongs to ST or Minority category. The provision for the scholarship is based on the norms created by the Government of India. Applicants must mention the category to which they belong while filling the online application form. The claim will be verified on the grounds of the certificate produced in favor of the claim. Note that candidates will have to carry all the necessary documents to the allotted place of admission and get their documents verified.

As per state-wise distribution of scholarship among the nominees of minority category in accordance with the decision government, the total amount for the scholarships for Chhattisgarh state is 310. The scholarship will be awarded to the candidates on the basis of the eligibility i.e., candidates should not have been less than 50% marks at higher secondary (10+2) the degree or graduation level.

The current selection of the candidates will be implemented on the basis of merit only. The extension of the scholarship will depend on the performance of the candidate while you’re on course work. The sum of the scholarship will be successfully transferred to an account from which the application fee is paid for by the applicant.
