Nationality:

• Indian citizens can only apply for the admission process conducted by SCERT.

Educational qualification:

• For the entrance exam, candidates studying in SSC class in the current year, in any recognized school, can register in Step 1.
• Candidates who want to apply must have completed grade 9 from an accredited school.

Age criteria:

• For the admission procedure, one should be less than the age of 18 years at the time of admission.

Qualifying marks:

• High school candidates must score at least 50% in the proficiency test to be able to apply for admission.
• And reserved category candidates must score at least 40% in the entrance exam.

NTSE Tripura 2023 Paper Pattern

• Candidates must take the entrance exam in offline mode (paper and pen test).

At the state level, the official authorities will conduct the entrance exam for the applicants in two sessions as mention below:

• Paper I: Mental Ability Test (MAT)
• Paper-II: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
• The session will include objective type MCQ questions.
• A total of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks will be asked in both sections, one each being Paper I and Paper II.
• The competent authority will give each candidate 120 minutes to solve problems I and II.
• During the entrance exam, each correct answer will be scored and the test will not have a negative score.

NTSE Tripura 2023 Admit Card

NTSE Tripura Admit Card 2023 will be available in the first week of December 2023. It will not be mandatory for the official agencies to provide the admit card to the candidates through post or any other means. However, the admission card will be issued at the education department of the concerned block.

Therefore, candidates need to pick up their admission card one week before the entrance exam date from the relevant block’s education department. The admit card will also be available on the official website of the university for candidates’ reference.
