With the help of the admission process, candidates can get admission in BA LLB of five years integrated course and LLM for a one-year course and Ph.D. course in the field of Law. These admissions are given through the competitive exams followed by a counseling session. For CLAT

NLUJA 2023 Application Process

The NLUJA 2023 Application Process is crucial as the candidates who does not complete the application process will not be able to apply for the NLUJA 2023 Application Form. 

The applicants willing to get admission in BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM course will have to apply for the CLAT. However, the applicants willing to apply to get admission to the Ph.D. course will have to fill the NLUJA application. The application process is similar for both.

Below we have provided the details of the Application Process for the candidates to refer.

• The NLUJA Admission 2023 Application Form has been Released on 8th August 2022.
• The conducting authorities has been released the Application Form through online mode for the applicants willing to apply for the admission process.
• So to get the Application Form the applicants must visit the official website and register themselves.
• At the time of registration, the applicants will have to provide certain details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email id.
• Once the registration process is completed candidates will have to log in to the website using the credentials which are received in their mail.
• After logging to the website the applicants will have to get the Application Form.
• Once the application form is open the applicants must start filling it with the help of the educational documents.
• Applicants must make sure that they should not enter any false information in the application form.
• Once the Application Form is completely filled the applicant will have to check all the details and then make the payment of the application fee in online mode itself.
• Once the application fee is paid the applicants will have to save the payment confirmation receipt
• Then the applicants will have to submit the duly filled application form before the due date.

NLUJA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the information regarding the NLUJA 2023 Eligibility Norms for the candidates to check before applying for the admission process.

BA LLB

• Qualification: HSC exam with 10+2 system.
• Minimum marks (general category): More than 45% marks
• Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 40% marks
• Selection Process: CLAT

LLM

• Qualification: LLB Degree.
• Minimum marks (general category): More than 55% marks
• Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 50% marks
• Selection Process: CLAT

Ph.D. course

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Law
• Minimum marks (general category): More than 55% marks
• Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 50% marks
• Selection Process: UGC – NET/JRF/SLET/Admission Test + Personal Interview

NLUJA 2023 Selection Process 

In this section, the applicants will get the information regarding the NLUJA 2023 Selection Process for the academic year. The conducting authorities offer admission on the basis of the competitive entrance exam and counseling session.

Candidates will have to apply for the CLAT exam in order to get admission in the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM course. And the applicants willing to apply for the Ph.D. course will have to appear for the entrance exam which will be held by the conducting authorities of the NLUJA.

Candidates cannot appear for the admission test for PhD course if they have completed UGC – NET/JRF/SLET. On the basis of the marks obtained by the applicants in the entrance exam, the official authorities will provide admission to the applicants in the respective course.

After that, the applicants will have to appear for the interview round and then the final admission will be provided to the applicants in the institution.

NLUJA 2023 Exam Pattern

The applicants willing to apply for the Ph.D. course will have to appear for the Ph.D. admission test which will be held by the conducting authorities of the NLUJA. And so for such applicants, we have provided the information about the pattern of the Ph.D. Admission Test.

• Duration of the exam: Two hours
• Type of questions: Objective type MCQs and Descriptive type questions and Essay
• No of Questions: 25 MCQs and 5 descriptive (out of 10) and 1 essay
• Marking Scheme: 1 marks for MCQ, 5 marks for descriptive

NLUJA 2023 Results 

Candidates willing to get information regarding the NLUJA 2023 Results can check the information we have provided below. The conducting authorities of the NLUJA have decided to offer admission to the applicants on the basis of scores obtained by them in the CLAT exam (for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM course) and on the basis of University entrance exam (for the PhD course).

The conducting authorities will select a few applicants for providing admission in different courses. The conducting authorities of the NLUJA will released a merit list of the applicants who have been selected for the admission process.

The applicants whose name has appeared in the NLUJA 2023 Results will be invited for the counseling round by the conducting authorities. The applicants will get admission in the institution after the completion of the counseling session.
