NIT Trichy Admission 2026 Application Form has been Released through NTA CUET 2026. National Institute Of Technology Trichy (NITT) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology formerly known as Regional Engineering College was established in 1964 as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu. NIT Trichy provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses such as BTech, BArch, MTech, March, MSc, MCA, MBA, MA, MS (by Research) and PhD.

NIT Trichy is also providing MS by Research and Ph.D. programs in several fields at the Doctoral level. The selection for admission in NIT Trichy to various courses is based on national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, etc. Final seat allocation is done through counselling sessions such as CCMT, CCMN and JoSAA Counselling. NIT Trichy 2026 Admissions Process:

  • Candidates willing to get admission to B.Tech and B.Arch courses need to qualify in JEE Main followed by counseling performed by JoSAA.
  • M.Tech and also MS by Research admissions were based on the score in GATE followed by counseling (CCMT).
  • CAT eligible candidates are also entitled to help secure admission in MBA. Definitive admission is based upon the GD and Interview round.
  • In order to get admission in MCA, the candidates have to appear in NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) followed closely by counseling.
  • Admission in M.Sc program will be done through an entrance exam performed by the institute and marks obtained in the recent qualifying examination.
