The submission process for Nalanda University, Patna will be done through offline as well as the Offline Mode. On the Other Hand, the candidates willing to get admission in Ph.D. must apply for the Entrance test organized by the University. The offline application process is for admission to Nalanda University, Patna is as follows:

• Go through the official website of the college, download, and then fill-up the Application Form.
• Nalanda Open University Admission 2023 Application Form has been Released on 29th July 2023 for UG & PG Courses.
• Candidate must mention the Name of applicant, Contact Number, Admission Form Number, and the name of the course he has requested on the backside of the Demand Draft.
• Once an application form is submitted, it is processed within a stipulated time and the pupils will be rumored to visit the college campus for the Entrance Test (for Ph.D.)/ Final Admission formalities along with required documentation (Original) and stipulated admission fees.
• Admission form can be obtained from the University campuses by making the payment of Rs.350/- in cash.
• The admission form may be requested through post by making a payment of Rs. 400/- through Demand Draft.

Nalanda Open University (NOU) is also the only University imparting distance education system in Bihar. It was established in 1987 through line with Bihar Government’s decree. NOU provides 24 UG, 27 PG, 44 certificates, 5 Postgraduate Diploma, as well as from 8 Intermediate courses to students. Nalanda Open University has been ranked amongst the top ten Colleges of Bihar offering B.Ed.

Nalanda Open University (NOU), situated in Bihar, is now the only university in the state providing education through distance and open education. NOU provides a wide selection of UG and PG courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, MA, M.Sc, M.Com in multiple themes to students annually.

The university is followed by an odd and even semester template for all its distance learning courses.
