KGMU 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the Eligibility Criteria for various courses for the candidates to refer:

For B.Sc Nursing

• Minimum qualifications for admission are following up-to-date INC parameter
• 10+2 with 45% marks in science (PCBE) from any known board. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English)
• Applicants are too qualified from State Open School familiar by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the central government having Science subjects and English only.
• 5% of the total marks is lessened for SC/ST aspirants.
• Any other reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
• Registration will be encompassed in the seats certified and not exceeding it.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2023.

For M.Sc Nursing

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

The minimum education requirements intend to be the issuing of a B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

• Candidates would have undertaken B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an Institution which is known by the Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• 5% lessening of marks for SC/ST aspirants possibly will be given.
• M.Sc Nursing Admission in the college of Nursing KGMU, Lucknow and following Nursing Colleges, which are associated with the University, will be completed through the Entrance examination planned to be held on in accordance with the timetable at Lucknow.

• Vivekanand College of Nursing, Lucknow.
• Hind College of Nursing, Lucknow.

For DH/DM 

• Passed 10+2 or two years Intermediate or equivalent course thereof with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre University/ Intermediate Board.
• Considered 17 years at the time of admission or in three months of it and must be medically suitable for admission.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 Years on or before 1st December-2023.
