Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) 2024 Application Process

The process of application of the Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) is as mentioned below.

• Application form for Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha (STAR) Scholarship Program 2024 will be released soon.
• The authorities will publish the application forms for applicants in the online mode on the official website.
• Therefore, applicants who wish to apply for the program must fill out and submit an application form.
• To get the application form, the applicant will have to go through an online registration process in which they will have to provide certain details such as name, valid contact number, email id and more.
• Applicants should note that before completing the application form, they should check the guidelines and eligibility criteria set forth by the institution.
• Candidates are required to provide a valid contact number and email id, as this will help them in the future while continuing the selection process.
• Applicants must also attach to the application form a recent passport-sized photograph measuring 150 W x 200 H pixels.
• After completing the application form, the candidate will receive an OTP in the registered email.
• An OTP must be entered, then the registrant will be asked to create a password of at least 6 characters to proceed with the registration.
• After successful registration, the system will generate an application number and the applicant will receive a confirmation email with their application number and password.
• And the last step is to submit and complete the application or registration process.

Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian citizens are only eligible.
• Age: The student should be more than 17 years of age.
• Domicile: The applicant must belong to Kerala.
• Qualification: The students who have completed HSC exams are eligible to apply.
• Minimum Percentage (General Category): The General Category applicants must have scored more than 90 % marks in the exam.
• Minimum Percentage (Reserved Category): The Reserved Category applicants must have scored more than 80 % marks in the exam.
• Admission: The applicant has secured admission for the B.Sc. / Integrated M.Sc./ Integrated BS-MS courses in Basic or Natural Science in any of the recognized Institutions or Universities in India are eligible to apply.
• Recognition: Education should be completed by a recognized Board or institution or University.

Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) 2024 Selection Procedure

The authorities will conduct the process of awarding scholarships to candidates based entirely on ranking lists. After candidates have submitted all application forms, the authorities will review them based on HSC scores (for all science subjects).

And based on careful consideration, the authorities will make a ranking list of candidates. The authority will nominate candidates based on different subjects grouped together such as mathematical sciences, physical sciences and life sciences. Below, we have given the weight of each criterion.

However, the authorities reserve 10% of the seats for candidates in the reserve category. Once all applicants are agreed upon, the authorities will prepare the final ranking list and publish it after all applicants’ profiles are verified.

Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) 2024 Awards

Below given are the details of the basic criteria of the scholarships which are awarded to the applicants.

UG course / First 3 years of Integrated PG Course:

• The first year – Rs 12,000/-
• The second year – Rs 18,000/-
• The third-year – Rs 24,000/-

PG courses (scored minimum 75% marks for UG course):

• The first year/ the fourth year of the Integrated PG course – Rs 40,000/-
• The second-year/ the fifth year of the Integrated PG course – Rs 60,000/-

Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR) 2024 Rank List

The ranking list of the Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Program (STAR) 2024 will be prepared when the authorities receive all the applications from the candidates. Candidates will get the details of the Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha (STAR) Scholarship Program Ranking List 2024 in this section.

The authorities will prepare the ranking list (provisional) of the Kerala KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Program (STAR) 2024 based on three subjects (Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences). The provisional ranking list will total 100 students.

Candidates will be able to obtain the Provisional Ranking List from the official website in online mode. Applicants should check the list and keep all required documents with them. As applicants will be required to upload scanned copies of certain documents to confirm the scholarship if their name appears in the ranking list.
