IB ACIO Result 2025 OUT
The IB ACIO Tier 1 result is now available on the official portal of the Ministry of Home Affairs (www.mha.gov.in). The published result contains candidates’ qualifying status along with marks obtained in the exam conducted on 16, 17, and 18 September 2025. The Tier 2 descriptive examination is expected to be held in December 2025.
The recruitment process consists of three stages—Tier 1 (Objective Test), Tier 2 (Descriptive Test), and Interview. IB ACIO Tier 1 Minimum Passing Marks
IB has already fixed minimum qualifying marks for the Tier-1 exam and it is mentioned in the exam notification. Out of 100 marks, different category candidates must score the minimum marks as follows:
- General/UR: 35 Marks
- OBC: 34 Marks
- SC/ST: 33 Marks
- EWS: 35 Marks
- Ex-servicemen will be evaluated under the same category they belong to, such as UR, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS.
How to Calculate IB ACIO Tier 1 Marks?
To calculate your marks in the IB ACIO Tier-1 exam, follow the marking scheme:
Final Marks = (Correct Answers × 1) – (Wrong Answers × 0.25)
- +1 mark for every correct answer
- –0.25 mark for every incorrect answer
- 0 marks for unattempted questions
- “Mark for Review” questions are not counted in scoring
