Haryana Open School Application Form 2023 will be released soon. In 1969, the Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani was established to provide opportunities to eligible candidates for admission to the SSC and HSC classes offered at the Haryana Open School.

With about 100 permanent employees, the Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani was formed and the staff was posted to Punjab University, Chandigarh. In 1970, the Haryana Open School held its first admission, an SSC class for qualified candidates.

However, today the Haryana Open School has more than 650 officials and is examining 10 lakh (one million) candidates for the exam conducted by the board.

From the year 2006 – 2007, the board has declared the semester system of education for the applicants. However the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani is the first board to introduce relative grading, CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) in the board classes that are secondary and senior secondary.

Eligible applicants who are interested in getting admission in secondary and senior secondary Examination needs to appear for the admission procedure organized by the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE).

Educational qualifications for class HSC:

• One must have completed an SSC class from a recognized board are an eligible or 11^th class from a known university to get admission in HSC class.

Educational qualifications for class SSC:

• One must have completed 9^th standard from a primary school to get admission in SSC class.

Qualifying marks:

• One should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam to get admission (45% marks in case of reserved category applicants).

Medical fitness certificate:

• One should be medically fit to apply for the entrance exam.

The Haryana Open School Board will be responsible for providing admit cards to candidates who qualify for the entrance exam.

The admit card will be provided online on the university’s official website for candidates’ reference. Candidates should visit the official website of the university and click on the link available on the website to check the admit card.

Candidates must use the profile number and password created during registration to get the admit card on the website. Candidates are required to download their admit card from the official website of the university.
