Delhi Police Constable Selection Process
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Delhi Police Constable Exam on behalf of the Delhi Police to recruit candidates for the post of Constable. For 2025, Delhi Police has announced a total of 7,565 Constable posts for both male and female candidates. The application period for the exam is from 22nd September 2025 to 21st October 2025.
The stage-wise Delhi Police Constable selection process consists of four stages:
- Computer-based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test, also known as PET or PST(Physical Standard Test)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination

DP Selection Process 2025 Stage 2
Once you clear the Computer-Based Test (CBT), you will be called for the physical tests. This stage consists of two key parts:
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)

After successfully clearing the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) and the Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT), the next stage in the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process is Document Verification.
This stage is crucial as it ensures that all the details provided by candidates during the application process are accurate and that they meet the eligibility criteria. The documents required for verification are as follows:

DP Constable 2025 Cut-Off and Merit List
As per the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process, the merit list is primarily based on the written exam (CBE) scores. Candidates who score above the prescribed cut-off in the written exam will be eligible for the next stage, which includes the Physical Efficiency and Measurement Tests (PE&MT).
