DBT JRF 2023 Application Form will be released soon. The Department of Biotechnology Junior Research Fellowship (DBT JRF) can held the Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) to provide admission to the candidates within the field of Biotechnology and Life Sciences.

Candidates interested and eligible to get admission within the Biotechnology and Life Sciences they’ll fill the application form through online mode by visiting on the official website.

There will be 2 category merit list prepared through the official authority to select the candidates for DBT sponsored project and avail fellowship from the project, like NET/GATE qualification as per DST guidelines. BET Important Dates 2023:

The BET exam important dates are provided to the candidates, willing to apply during this examination to urge the award of Junior Research Fellowship:

The BET application form has been released on 2nd week of March 2023 until the last week of March 2023. Those candidates willing for activation of fellowship subject to ph.D. registration from a recognized university or Institute within the country, they’ll apply within the BET examination by filling the application form. The application form filling procedure has mentioned below.

First of all, candidates ought to need to visit on the official website of the Department of Biotechnology Junior Research Fellowship. candidates got to register themselves by clicking on the link of ‘New Registration’ and enter the details like the name of candidates, date of birth, email and mobile number.

After entering all the details, candidates need to submit it and candidates can get their user ID and password to fill the application form. By using the user ID and password, candidates can get the application form and that they should have to fill all the correct and complete details like personal and qualification details.

After that, they have to upload their scanned needed documents within the application form and submit it after confirming all the details provided by them. they have to take the print out of it for future use.

BET Eligibility Criteria:

Those candidates are going to fill the application form of the BET examination they must have to check their eligibility criteria before filling. The eligibility criteria details have mentioned below.

• Marks: Minimum 60% of marks for General, EWS & OBC category and 55% of marks for SC/ ST/ Differently Abled candidates in aggregate (or equivalentgrade).
• Age Limit: Upto 28 years of age as on the last date of application for General& EWS category. Age relaxation of up to 5 years (33 years) for SC/ ST/ Differently Abled/ Women candidates and upto 3 years (31 years) for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
• Academic Qualification: Bachelors (B.E./ B.Tech./M.B.B.S) and Masters (M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.VSc./M. Pharm./ Integrated M.Sc./ M.Tech.) in any discipline of Biotechnology, Life Sciences such as Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Botany, Chemistry, Computational Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Zoology or any other allied areas ofBiology/Life-Sciences.
• Candidates admitted in any of the M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.VSc./ M.Sc.(Agri) programmes supported under the DBT Post Graduate Teaching Programme shall be eligible to apply. Candidates who are yet to appear in the final semester examination or awaiting result of final semester shall also be eligible to

BET Admit Card 2023:

The Department of Biotechnology will offer the BET admit card on its official website within the 1st week of April and the candidates can get their admit card if they need successfully submitted their form. By using the User ID (Application Sequence Number) and password within the required field, candidates will download the admit card. it’s necessary for the candidates to carry the admit card at the examination center together with needed documents.

BET Result 2023:

On the official webpage of the Department of Biotechnology, the BET result can declare within the 4th week of May. Those candidates have given the examination they’ll check their results through online mode by visiting on the official web site. to check the result, candidates need to click on the result link and the PDF of the result can display to the candidates. They’ll check and download it for future use. Applicant’s documents and marks scored within the examination are verified through authority and the award letter is provided to them within one year of the declaration of result.
