a) Candidates should apply only through online mode in the TRB website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in or go for the direct link provided above.
b) Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II.
c) Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent colour passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 KB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 KB) separately. The online application should be uploaded with the photograph and signature of the candidate with complete information.
d) A valid e-mail id and Mobile Number are mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active till the declaration of results.
e) Candidates are only fully responsible for all the details and documents submitted along with the application. Candidates have to go through all the instruction carefully and carefully fill up details and upload document.
f) The online application without candidate’s photograph and signature and incomplete information will be rejected.

How to Apply for TNTET 2023:
Candidates will fill the application form of TNTET by following the procedure mentioned below and that they should need to follow it.
- First of all, candidates should need to visit the official website of the teachers recruitment Board Government of Tamil Nadu.
- Candidates need to search for the recruitment section.
- Click on the link showing notification for the TNTET exam.
- Click on the “Apply Online” tab.
- Before going to fill the application form, candidates should need to follow the instructions rigorously.
- Applicants need to enter the registration details i.e. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, and email address within the needed field.
- Fill the application form together with your Personal Details like Address, nationality, academic qualifications, choice of examination center, Paper applied for, etc.
- Applicants even have to upload a signature and photographs.
- Along with the application form, candidates even have to attach all the required documents.
- Make the payment of application fee through any on-line Mode using net-banking/Credit/Debit Card.
- Review the details within the entire form, make changes, if necessary, and click on the Submit button.
- After submitting the online form, a registration number together with the password is generated. They must have to keep it safe for future use.
TNTET Application Fees:
Along with the filling of application form, Applicants should also pay the prescribed application fee as per their class. General Applicants can have pay Rs. 500 whereas SC, SCA, ST and PWD Applicants can need to pay Rs. 250.
The application fee is paid through online mode (Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card) or offline mode (Demand Draft / Postal Order) The candidates, who want to appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II, should pay separately for both.
TNTET Eligibility Criteria 2023:
The examination authority can determine the eligibility criteria of TNTET 2023 exam for all willing Applicants. It’s necessary for the applicants to meet TNTET eligibility criteria 2023 to avoid rejection at the later stage of the selection method. The eligibility criteria of TNTET 2023 is determined on the basis of the age and education qualification of the Applicants.
TNTET Age Criteria 2023: The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old. There is no upper age limit. TNTET Eligibility Criteria on the basis of Education Qualification:
For appearing in Paper I: Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Or Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or Higher Secondary with not but 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or Applicants should hold Graduation degree and have passed or showing in final year of a 2-year diploma in teaching.
Or Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

2. For Appearing in Paper II: Applicants should be Graduates and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Or Must hold a Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
Or Graduation with not but 45% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) laws.

TNTET Exam Pattern 2023:
The exam pattern of TNTET is prescribed by the examination authority for all the applicants who would like to attend for the exam. By going through the TNTET exam pattern 2023, Applicants can understand the sections from where the queries are often asked within the exam, total number of queries asked, marks distribution, duration of exam etc.
TNTET Exam Pattern 2023 – Paper I: Contain question from five sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language one (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu, Language two – English, mathematics and Environmental Studies. The test for the paper I will contain a complete of one hundred fifty queries of one mark each. No marks are subtracted for any wrong response given by the candidate.
TN TET Exam Pattern 2023 – Paper II: Paper-II can contain queries from four sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language one (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu), Language 2 – English, and i) For Maths and Science/Social Science The test are held for a total of one hundred fifty queries of one mark every. Applicants are assigned three hours to complete the test. No negative marking.

TNTET 2023 Admit Card:
The admit card of TNTET is issued to only those applicants who can fill the application form with success. The admit card will be released within the last week of April 2023 and Applicants are able to download the admit card till the date of the test. To download the admit card, Applicants can use their login credentials.
The admit card of TNTET can contain the details regarding applicants and the examination – name if the Applicants, date of birth, registration number, roll number, date and time of examination, a paper that the test has to be taken, exam center details. Applicants should take a print of the admit card and bring it to the test center on the day of the test.
Together with the admit card, Applicants should also bring one of the prescribed photograph ID proofs – Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driver’s license, PAN card, Passport. No Applicants are allowed to take the test without the admit card and the prescribed photo ID proof.
TNTET Answer Key 2023:
The answer key of TNTET will be released once the exam gets over. TNTET Answer key 2023 can contain the correct answers to all the queries asked in the exam. By going through the answer key of TNTET, Applicants are able to calculate their expected marks and so predict their chances to qualify for the test.
Applicants may raise objections just in case of discrepancies within the answer key. After scrutinizing the provisional answer key, the exam authority can release the final TNTET answer key 2023 on the basis that the final result is announced.
TNTET Result 2023:
The results of TNTET will be declared by on-line mode for both the papers. TNTET result 2023 will be checked by the Applicants by using their login credentials. The TNTET result 2023 can contain the marks scored by the Applicants and therefore the qualifying status. All those Applicants who score 60% marks (general category) and 55% marks (SC/ST and PWD category) within the TNTET test are considered qualified.
