- Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the undergraduate (UG) courses must have completed their HSC (12th) from any stream and a known board.

- Entrance Exam: Candidates will have to clear the BSTC (Basic School Teachers course) that is held by the Education of Rajasthan Department
Eligibility criteria for the postgraduate (PG) courses admission
- Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the postgraduate (PG) courses must have completed their Graduation (10 + 2 + 3) from any field and a known university or institute.
Eligibility criteria for the MBA course admission
- Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the MBA course must have completed their graduation from any stream with 10 + 2 + 3 system.
- General Category Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have achieved at least 50 % of the score at the time of completing their graduation.
- Reserved Category Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have achieved at least 45 % of the score at the time of completing their graduation.
Eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. course admission
- Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Ph.D. course must hold a Master’s degree from any stream through a known university or institute.
- General Category Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have achieved at least 55 % of the score at the time of completing their education.
- Reserved Category Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have achieved at least 50 % of the score at the time of completing their education.
- Entrance Exam: Candidates will have to clear the RET (Research Eligibility Test) that is held by the GGTU (Govind Guru Tribal University)
Important Note: Candidates who have already cleared the NET, SLET, GATE, UGC / CSIR (JRF) Examination, or M. Phil. Program as per UGC Regulation 2009 will be excused for the RET (Research Eligibility Test).
GGTU (Govind Guru Tribal University) 2025 – Paper Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will be held through the offline mode (OMR) sheet.
- Language of Exam: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will be organized in English and Hindi language.
- Type of questions: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) paper will have only MCQ type questions for the applicants to answer.
- Number of Questions: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) paper will have 50 questions to be answered by the applicants in each paper.
- Duration of Exam: Candidates will get 60 minutes (1 hour) to solve each paper and in total, they will have 2 hours (120 minutes) to solve both the papers.
- Total Marks: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will be a combination of two papers and each paper will be for 100 marks which means that if combined then the total marks will be 200 marks
- Marking Scheme: Candidates can achieve 2 marks for each correct answer that they mark.
- Negative Marking: As per the university there will be no negative marking done for the RET (Research Eligibility Test)
- Sections: The RET (Research Eligibility Test) will have two papers to be solved by the applicants as mentioned below.
- Paper 1 – General nature of Teaching and Research Aptitude
- Paper 2 – Based on the subject nominated by the applicant.
Important Note: If in case the candidate fails to appear for the 1st Paper he/ she will not be permitted to appear for the 2nd paper as well.
