NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam Pattern: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, additionally called NTA UGC NET 2019 or NET, is one amongst the most sought-after entrance examinations within the country that determines the eligibility of the candidates for university and college-level lectureship. The examination is conducted to assess the “eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professional Solely or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor each in Indian Universities and Colleges”.

NTA UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), that was conducting the NET Examination on behalf of University Grants Commission, is no longer bestowed with the responsibility. The National Testing Agency, an autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization, can regulate UGC NET from December 2018. Together with the National Eligibility Test, the Agency are going to be holding different prominent entrance exams like NEET 2019, JEE Main 2019, CMAT, GPAT, etc., that was earlier regulated by CBSE. The NTA UGC NET and NTA JEE Main exams are going to be conducted two times during a year.

NTA is prepared to conduct its first UGC NET December 2018 edition on first Sept 2018. In 2019, the UGC NET Examination is predicted to be held in July 2019. The NET Examination is going to be conducted at Ninety-one centres all over India. The amount of subjects that it covers is eighty four.

National Eligibility Test 2019 or NET 2019 could be a national level examination conducted by NTA on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC). NTA UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019 Details:

On behalf of UGC, the National Eligibility Test (NET ) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals ‘only for assistant professor’ or ‘for Junior research Fellowship and Assistant prof both’ in Indian Universities and colleges. Till recently, CBSE conducted the UGC NET in eighty four subjects at Ninety one elect cities spread across the country. NTA UGC NET 2019 Mode of Exam:

Online i.e. Computer Based Mode.
Each candidate are allotted their own desktop with a preinstalled software especially formed for the examination.
Make sure to check that the system and the mouse is working properly before staring the exam.

NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam Pattern Nature of Questions:

The queries in each the paper are objective in nature.
This means, all the queries in UGC NET (December 2018) are of Multiple Selection Questions (MCQs), having four choices.
Candidates must choose the foremost acceptable answer.The duration of Paper 1 is 60 minutes (1 hour) and Paper 2 is 120 minutes (2 hours).

NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam Pattern Total Queries:

Paper one can have fifty queries and Paper 2 can have one hundred queries in total.
No restriction to move to and fro among the sections.
All the questions are compulsory to attempt.

NTA UGC NET 2019 Marking Scheme:

A uniform marking system is followed within the examination i.e. for Paper 1and 2, every correct answer carries + 2 marks.
As per the revised examination pattern of NTA UGC NET  examination, there’s no negative marking for any unanswered or incorrect answer. Hence, rather than skipping a question, one will use their calculated guess and mark the answer.
