Asia to the east, Europe to the northwest, Africa to the southwest, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west all border the Middle East, a region of Asia. Occasionally, parts of Africa, particularly Egypt and Sudan, are also considered to be part of the Middle East. The division of the Ottoman Empire resulted in the formation of many of the Middle Eastern nations that exist today.
The Middle East is well-known for its vast oil reserves on the economic front. It is also known for being the home of three major religions in the world: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. As a result of its monetary, strict, and geological area, the Center East has been at the focal point of numerous world issues and political undertakings.
The history of the Middle East is extensive. A few extraordinary old civilizations were shaped in the Center East including Old Egypt, the Persian Realm, and the Babylonian Domain.
